Wyrley Juniors FC
would like to thank all those from many clubs within the Walsall Junior Youth League in their support of the Charity match between their First Team and Walsall FC old boys held on January 31st. Despite the poor weather conditions, over 1,000 attended the game and a magnificent £6950 was raised to help research into meningitis – a truly tremendous effort. It is at times like this that the football community forgets its competitive roots and supports ‘one of their own’.
